By purchasing anything from this site you agree to the following terms and conditions and agree that you have read and understand them.
TJ Brutal Customs respects our customers’ information. This private and confidential information will never be shared with any outside affiliations for any reason.
We reserve the right to refuse any refund or return requests. In the event TJ Brutal Customs authorizes a return, the items may be subject to a restocking fee. If items returned are used or damaged we cannot issue a refund. There can be a 20% restocking fee for non-custom items. For custom items, there can be 50% restocking fee - exhaust, gas tanks, special orders, and promotional items - if we accept a return. All Brass items have a 30% re-stocking fee. **Items purchased during a sale cannot be cancelled or returned.** If we make an item that is not a regular option on the site in a custom configuration, we cannot cancel or refund the order once the order is placed. We are not responsible for shipping charges incurred if you ship an item back. If a return is authorized you must pay any additional shipping charges. A refund may take up to 30 days to process, however they are usually much quicker. If you paid an expedite fee and wish to return an item, expedite fees are non-refundable. We cannot refund a purchase if the refund is requested after 180 days from date of purchase. We can issue store credit. We reserve the right to waive these terms at our discretion. Cancellations cannot be processed for several items, throttle cables, clutch cables, and brake lines (as they are made to order), extended fork tubes, springers, motogadget products, gas tanks, antigravity products and custom invoiced items. If an order is placed before a sale, an order cannot be cancelled and then placed again during the sale. If an order is placed during a pre-order sale, it cannot be cancelled. Once an off-sale order is placed, you have 24 hours to edit your order. After 24 hours the order cannot be edited and you will need to place a new order for any additional items. If you wish to cancel an order you may email through the contact page, requesting a cancellation. Make sure to include your order number in the email or the email will not come through the system. We will respond to your request within 3-7 business days. By purchasing from this website you agree not to file a dispute with paypal or your card company without first contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. (If a dispute is filed it prevents us from finishing your items or shipping them).
If we warranty a part you have received, we will send you a return label and you will not have to pay any return shipping fees. In order for us to send you a replacement part for any warranty, we will need to see tracking movement for the warrantied part you are returning before we are clear to send you a replacement part, so returning the warrantied part as soon as possible is the best bet to ensure your replacement will ship to you right away. If the part covered under warranty requires any kind of finishing, i.e. powder coating, anodizing, chrome plating, ceramic plating, or polishing, there may be an additional turnaround time to ship the replacement part to you. No matter what the scenario, we will do everything within our power to get any part covered under warranty repaired/replaced for you as soon as humanly possible.

If you purchase an item categorized as "Pre-Order" or an item that states in the description there is an extended turn around time - this means the item can have a turn around time of up to 10 weeks or longer if stated in the description. This can take longer or shorter depending on workload. If a dispute is filed within that time, you will be asked to cancel the dispute so we may finish processing your order. If you order multiple items and one or more of those items have an extended turn around time, the order will go out once all items have been fulfilled. If the 10 week period has passed please send an email and we will quickly figure out where your order stands. Items with Pre-order items cannot be cancelled or edited so please be sure of your items before finalizing your purchase.
Modifying products or misuse of products in a way other than is recommended on the site will void any warranty. Using any product for an application it was not intended for will void any warranty. Failure to follow the instructions on any product will void warranty. Brass products, plated or solid are not covered under warranty. brass is a very soft and fragile metal and prone to corrosion. Brass exhaust and brass components can change color and rust, pit, and corrode especially if the bike is left outside or the bike is in a humid environment, or moisture is left on the brass. The brass exhaust especially must be kept dry and wiped down after use once the metal is cool to the touch. We do not warranty electrical items, or any glass items, headlight lenses, or lights.
Gas tanks for VT600 and VT750 that are made by hand in house and come lined and ready to fill when you select the "Line My Tank" option. Do not powder coat the gas tanks as the lining will peel off the inside and they will need to be stripped and re-lined.
Should you need to contact us, you can reach out to us through the contact page on our website or by e-mailing customer service directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure to provide any applicable order number, i.e. #TJ1234; not a PayPal transaction ID, when doing so. We prefer e-mail as the form of communication with our customers as it not only provides a black-and-white reference for both parties, but it allows us both an easy point reference if some information was shared. Shop hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10AM -6PM PST so those are the best times to reach out. We will get back to you as expediently as we possibly can. This is typically within three-to-five business days. This is a VERY small shop and we do have days off... We are not robots!

Our products are for racetrack/offroad use only. We are not responsible for noise violation fines. It is your responsibility to research your local traffic laws to deem whether our parts are acceptable for your bike in your riding area. We are not responsible for any injury or damage to personal or public property.
$199.99 Free Shipping applies to Domestic orders only. We ship worldwide, although alternate shipping charges will apply. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items. International shipments shipping via FedEx may be subject to an import fee. You can check with your local customs office to learn if your country charges any import fees and, if so, at which rates, we are not responsible for these fees and these must be paid by you or the package will either be returned to us and we cannot refund your shipping charges. Once a package leaves the shop, I am no longer responsible for it. If your item is received damaged or lost you will need to contact the postal service. Please do not send an email asking where your item is. We are a small operation and things sometimes take longer than the big guys. No order is ever forgotten or lost, We get to them in the order they are received. If you placed an order and it has been some time, please go read the descriptions of the items you ordered, some of the items we carry are made to order, or may be on back order.
We ship every order as fast as possible and no order is ever unfulfilled. There is a three business day processing period of the transaction before the order can even begin to be fulfilled. Depending on your purchase, you may experience extended turn around times on custom or made-to-order parts as well as parts that are made in house. Items rapidly go in and out of back order status which can also affect shipping times. If you order multiple items and one or more of those items have an extended turn around time, the order will go out once all items have been fulfilled. In other words, orders ship when all items on the order are fulfilled. If this puts you in a pickle, please reach out to us through the contact page ONLY and let us know how we can best accommodate your building needs to help you get to the next ride.
When ordering and shipping via USPS please be aware they are in control of their shipping methods names. Just because you selected "2 day priority" does not mean your package will arrive in 2 days. When your order ships it will be shipped using the method you chose. Due to the custom and handmade nature of many of our products, we do not offer expedited shipping as in many cases shipping something immediately would be impossible. Most products have advertised turn around times and inventory availability can change rapidly and at any time. We will do our absolute best to get your order out to you as soon as possible!

Sales Tax is charged to those orders shipped within the state of California. All products and shipping are subjugated to a California sales tax of 9.75%.
