Honda Shadow Stock Clutch Replacement - HOW TO

You can find specific clutch replacement instructions in your service manual, but here are a few tips from TJ:

1. When adjusting at the lever: take a nickel and when you put your lever in, stick the nickel in there and adjust the clutch until the nickel is just barely held in (to the point where if you loosened it just a little the nickel would fall out). This is a simple way to measure the play/slack on your clutch cable.

2. Always, always, always LUBE YOUR CABLES! Don't be afraid to OVER-LUBE! Otherwise you have steel rubbing against steel and you'll wear it out in no time.
